MyChildren MyBride’s vocalist Matthew is probably the coolest vocalist out there right now. He was such a nice d00d. Not to mention, he knows how to put on an amazing show; Even with it being on a school night. Corpus Christi outdid their last showing at Scream The Prayer, too. :]
Oh, and a local band that stood out to me (very rare), Wake The Wounded. I think you guys should check them out. They were great.
However, due to the show’s insanity, I was really sore the next day. And my arms have a hard time when I practice my drums and such. I gotta sleep it off.
First week of school wasn’t horrible. Sucks I don’t have anything with my girlfriend or best friend, though. :/
Pretty horrible. I have no classes with either my girlfriend, my girlfriend’s sisters, nor my best friend Luke. Not even lunch! However, I like my bus route. And I have one teacher that has a poster of Dwight Schrute from The Office. :D Better than last year, though, I can say that much.
I broke a string on my guitar. I thing I get more mad than others when that happens. It infuriates me. I was on a roll, too. :[
Since I moved into my Uncle’s, we put a lot of stuff in the garage. And by “a lot of stuff”, it’s an understatement. I’ve come to realize that my straightener’s somewhere in there. School starts Wednesday, and I can’t find it. And for those that haven’t seen me without straightened hair, it’s a disaster.
Sean Kingston’s “Fire Burning” has replayed about a hundred times in my room. I really happen to enjoy it. I don’t know what it is about it. Songs that catchy usually just annoy me. But this song’s different. Good kind of annoying? Is that possible?
Well, tomorrow I go to get some jeans. Then Wednesday I go back to school. And the day after, I see MyChildren MyBride.
I..kinda missed you, Tumblr. I was M.I.A. for a little, but I’m back now. :D
Rams beat the Jets, but lost to the Falcons. Surprisingly, we’re looking good this year. But then again, it is just preseason.
Last night, I was at a Miss May I show at The Attic with Luke, Erica, and Shelbie. All was perfect. I had a lot of fun, and Shelbie and I were able to talk for a little while after the show; Which was nice for the clarifying.
Luke stayed that night, and we stayed up all night, deciding to go to McDonalds at 6 in the morning, because we craved Breakfast a lot. After that, we walked back, making a few stops in between.
When we got back, we went to sleep. We woke up around 4 in the afternoon, and Luke was texted to come home. After Luke left, all hell broke loose. It’s pretty personal stuff, but it involved us (my mom and I) having to move out inside of 12 hours; cops orders. My mom chose to go to my most hated Uncles’ house, said I was going to be enrolled there and everything. So I ran out of the house, and walked around for awhile. When I got back, my other Uncle, David, said he would take me in to live with him during it all. So I get to stay in Wilmington. But all-in-all, it’s been rough. At least on the good side I got internet back, and a cell phone to be activated soon. :D
However, at the worst time, all of this talk of love is giving me a headache. I need time to think, and this is a horrible time for that.
Scream The Prayer was amazing. Sleeping Giant made me cry, definitely. So I’d say they put up the best live performance. I got a Dozer///A Plea For Purging shirt. :D And I got to meet Lukay’s girlfriend, Shelbie, and a whole bunch of other chill people. Also, I’ve temporarily given away my See You Next Tuesday UFO shirt. Shelbie’s taking good care of it, though. :]
Today’s the Artery Foundation with I See Stars, Broadway, Emarosa, In Fear And Faith, and Burden Of A Day. I’m probably mostly stoked for Burden Of A Day, because I get to hear stuff from their new album. :D Lukay’s most excited for I See Stars. Bummer Shelbie and Erica can’t go to that, however.
